SMS Privacy Policy

Home Doc uses text messaging to support appointments and care coordination. This page explains what we send, how consent works, and how to stop messages at any time.

SMS privacy

SMS opt-in information and phone numbers collected for the purpose of SMS are not shared with any third party or affiliate company for marketing purposes.

We collect information verbally from our patients through our interactions, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, and any other relevant information.

We use collected data to send appointment reminders to our patients. We also send our patients scheduling links and virtual appointment links so they can connect with their providers.

Except for the minimal extent necessary for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, or a serious threat to health or safety, we do not share patient information with third parties, affiliates, or partners without a patient's permission, in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
