Rural and mountain Colorado
Distance is exactly the problem telehealth was built for.
Away from the Front Range, the nearest psychiatrist or palliative specialist can be a mountain pass away, and winter turns a routine follow-up into a whole day. Video appointments reduce the barriers created by distance, which is why coverage is described by region rather than by listing towns. The Western Slope, the mountain communities, the Eastern Plains and the southern valleys are all in Colorado, and being in Colorado is what counts.
The primary constraints in rural areas are practical rather than geographic. The patient needs a connection steady enough to support video, a device with a working camera, and a private room where health can be discussed without an audience. Where bandwidth is genuinely poor, raise it with intake early so the plan is built around it.
